Kaba Gandhi No Delo, literally Kaba Gandhi's house, is the ancestral home of Mahatma Gandhi where he spent his early years of life from 1881-87 AD. It was built in 1880-81 CE by Mahatma Gandhi's father Karamchand Gandhi or Kaba Gandhi, who was the Diwan to the king of Saurashtra. The house was built in Saurashtra style of architecture, with arched gateways and courtyards. The place is must visit for Gandhi followers and avid history lovers.
Kaba Gandhi No Delo has now been converted into a museum and also declared as a national monument which is named 'Gandhi Smriti'. This beautiful building houses many original items related to Mahatma Gandhi like photographs, objects, and his personal belongings which give insight into his childhood days. The Mahatma's passion for the handloom is preserved in the form of a small weaving school. Kaba Gandhi No Delo is currently managed by the Non-Government Organization, who also runs classes in sewing and embroidery for young girls within the premises.

The Rotary Dolls Museum was set up in the year 2001 by Deepak Agrawal in order to provide children a place, where they could gain valuable knowledge about the world by the mode of fun and entertainment. This two-floor museum exhibits more than 1,600 dolls from over 102 countries decked out in different attires. These dolls are generously donated by the Rotary Clubs across the world to the museum. The museum has earned a place in the Limca Book of Records for its unique collection of dolls.
Unlike most museums, the Rotary Midtown Dolls Museum gives an overview of the culture and traditions of the world at large through a medium of dolls. The dolls are displayed in Theme Showcases which depict settings of the countries from which these dolls hail along with the flag of that country. The main attraction of the museum is the 'Rocking Zebra', among the 5 in the world. Dolls depicting folk dance like bhangra and dandiya, blue-eyed Barbie, black-eyed Laila, string puppets, glove puppets, designer dolls, husk dolls, Santa Claus dolls, and Einstein dolls are the other highlights of the museum.
Besides dolls, the museum also maintains permanent archives of documents related to the dolls for the study and enjoyment of members and for public viewing. Each showcase has on its side a write up about the unique cultural and traditional information about the dolls. The museum also has a Foreign Language Learning Centre where the language Library has more than 40 foreign and 10 Indian Languages that can be learned by students using a self-paced computer-based learning mechanism.
The museum also conducts workshops on dramatics and music, doll making, sculpting competitions, dress designing, doll exchange programs, finishing school, etc. There is a small cinema hall where children can watch documentaries on inventions, culture, environment, folk stories, fables, etc. from around the world. The museum offers a perfect platform for kids to explore and learn history. There is also a souvenir shop at the museum where children can buy stickers, country flags, picture postcards, stationeries, etc.

Set up in the Queen Victoria memorial institute building, the museum was established in 1888. The museum was named after the British Political Agent of Kathiwad, Colonel John Watson, who initiated the citations and documentation of the history of Rajkot and artifacts with respect to the royal families in the region. Managed by the Gujarat State Government, Watson Museum is the second most important museum in Gujarat, after the Museum of Baroda and one of the best among the seven such museums located across the Saurashtra region.
Watson Museum (Watson sangrahalaya Rajkot) depicts the history of India and the colonial history of Rajkot. The museum is divided into several sections namely paintings & manuscripts, textiles, inscriptions, sculptures, coins, anthropology, folk embroidery and handicraft, musical instruments, woodwork, natural history and rocks, and minerals. Since Colonel Watson was fond of history and archaeology, most of his collections and other artifacts are preserved here. The copies of artifacts from Mohenjodaro, 13th-century carvings, temple statues, Indus Valley Civilization artifacts collected from the Saurashtra region, memorabilia of Colonial rulers, and library paintings and artifacts donated by the neighboring rulers are the main highlights of the museum.
The museum also houses a huge 19th-century marble statue of Queen Victoria seated on a throne. There are many splendid portraits and photographs of royal princes of Saurashtra and European dignitaries, handicrafts, pottery, and princely relics. It also depicts the influence of textiles and jewelry in Bharwads, Ahirs, Darbars and other native people of the region.
Being one of the finest museums in Gujarat it allows guided tours along with photography and also has sales counters for spreading the word about the museum. Besides, the museum hosts a weeklong Bhartiya Shilp Samrudhi festival every year on the second week of January.
