- Catch train from Vadodara to Kevadiya which is 1.5 hrs journe
- Install SOU(statue of unity app) before reaching kevadia
- Not even a single rupee cash is required as everything need to booked via SOU app
- Book SOU entrance ticket, so that you can travel in bus from Kevadiya railway station to SOU(included in entrance ticket)
- Hotels charges minimum of Rs 2500/— so if you are a traveller and want to save money, directly travel to SOU with all luggages. Get down and reach to SULABH COMPLEX beside SOU parking. They will charge Rs 20 for bath and washroom usage, you can get fresh up their and toilets are very clean and hygiene.

- Reach back SOU by 4 pm visit SOU museum in ground floor, travel to top, travel in lift to 45th floor which takes 30 seconds in lift, you will amazed about engineering marvel built.
- Then by 7 pm light show will start, if you want better sound effects book a ticket for light show in SOU app or you can watch it from streets for free but without sound effects.
- Then collect your luggages, catch the bus reach Kevadiya railway station, catch you train back to Vadodara at 8:20 pm or 9:30 pm.
- Even for food you can eat snacks and lunch at small stalls roadside.

- buy the ticket to see the statue of unity which costs 150₹ to just be at the feet level and 350 to go upto the viewing Gallery 150 meter above ( but advance booking is needed ) you won’t get this ticket on the spot . So book 30 days in advance . And it’s 1000₹ for foreign tourists .
- once you get the ticket wait in the line to catch a bus to statue of unity which is around 6 kms from here .
You can board a train and get down at Vadodara Station. It will take 6–8 hours approximately to reach Vadodara. From Vadodara Station go to ST bus depot, it’s nearby, 5 minutes walking distance. Following are buses and their timings which will take you to Kevadiya Colony:
I took 8:15 bus and reached there by 10:20. The ticket cost is Rs. 81/person.
Once you reach Kevadiya chowk directly visit ticket booking counter to book your tickets. They have following slots for visit:
9:00 am - 11:00 am, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, 1:00 pm - 3: 00 pm and 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
